About The Position

Pivot Strategies is a communications consulting firm that helps organizations navigate complex change and transformation. We partner with some of the world’s most respected companies to strengthen alignment, clarify strategy, and drive successful adoption of new initiatives. Our team brings deep expertise in internal communications, organizational change management, and training, helping leaders connect strategy to execution in ways that resonate with their people and culture. We’re looking for a seasoned, strategic, and hands-on Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead large-scale transformation initiatives, serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, and own end-to-end OCM strategy and delivery. This role requires considerable experience supporting enterprise transformation programs that combine business process change, operational improvements, and enabling technology. This engagement is focused on a data modernization initiative, including the transition from legacy, on-premise data environments to a cloud-based data platform. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, locations, and evolving requirements. Experience supporting data and analytics platform transformations, particularly those involving cloud migration and modern data operating models is strongly preferred. Things to note: This is a primarily remote position with periodic travel within the United States based on client engagement needs. While Pivot offers a flexible work environment, our flexibility is guided by the requirements of each client engagement, which may include occasional on-site collaboration with client teams. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience leading organizational change in complex, matrixed environments, ideally within consulting or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale transformations involving business process and technology change.
  • Experience with data modernization or data platform transformations, including migration from legacy/on-premise to cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure, DataBricks, Snowflake, or similar).
  • Understanding of modern data environments, including analytics, data governance, and evolving user behaviors.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to advise senior leaders and facilitate alignment across stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently, bring structure to ambiguity, and drive work forward with minimal oversight.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategy, operations, and technology.
  • Experience working across both technical and business audiences (e.g., data/IT teams and end users).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.

Benefits

  • A modern, flexible workplace culture: We prioritize work-life balance with flexible schedules, remote work options, Summer Fridays, and generous PTO.
  • We invest in our team: We provide medical and dental benefits, a 401(k) with company match after 6 months of employment, profit-sharing benefits, life insurance, long and short-term disability options, and a budget for professional development reimbursement.
  • Opportunities to grow and lead: As we scale, we’re looking for team members who want to shape our future, whether by building out new capabilities, leading a team, or refining best practices. We’ll support your personal and professional development every step of the way.
