About The Position

As a key member of Cetera’s Financial Planning & Analysis team, this individual will report to the Director for FP&A and have full ownership of our Oracle EPM system administration. In addition to day-to-day system maintenance this individual will partner with leaders across the firm to take our Oracle system to the next level by driving improvements and transformational change in our planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ERP dimension tables and EPM data cubes (FS, WFP, WFSC)
  • Prior experience with an implementation or administration of a large financial Planning System
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Advanced skill set for Excel, Word, and Notepad software
  • Experience partnering with 3rd Party consultants for support (i.e., Pricewaterhouse Coopers)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, IT, or a related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in a Finance or system administration related role

Responsibilities

  • Own all administration activies for Oracle ERP which ecompassing three primary cubes including Financial Services (FS), Workforce Planning (WFP), and Workforce Sub-Cube (WFSC)
  • Responsible for coordinating monthly releases with Oracle
  • Responsible for coordinate and validating all testing activities
  • Develop deep understanding of company hierarchies and how they are utilized for FP&A reporting
  • Create, store, and archive versions of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Acquire working knowledge of Oracle EPM security set-up, functionality, and ability to make changes
  • Provide thought leadership and execution of system changes to accomoate future growth in firm
  • Creates efficient and repeatable workflows leveraging the GL systems capabilities
  • Supports the GL Committee Chair - Facilitate Committee meetings creating the agenda and memorializing results, along with creating and managing GL project plans; committee Includes External FP&A, Controlling, HR Work Force Planning and GL technology support
