About The Position

McBride Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Consultant with a minimum of 7 years of experience supporting and enhancing a cloud -based performance management suite used for planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reconciliation, and enterprise reporting. This role will serve as a key resource for L2/L3 production support, application monitoring, close -cycle execution, and continuous improvement of Oracle EPM solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Essbase, Data Integration, metadata management, security, and financial close processes, along with a strong background in incident management and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle EPM Cloud applications
  • Proven experience providing L2/L3 production support in an enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes
  • Hands -on experience with:
  • Essbase cubes and metadata management
  • Data integration tools (FDMEE, Data Management, ODI, ETL)
  • Security model (roles, groups, filters)
  • Experience with incident management and RCA processes
  • Ability to manage batch jobs, integrations, and close cycle activities within SLA timelines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EPM Automate and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud integrations
  • Knowledge of audit, compliance, and data governance frameworks
  • Experience working in 24x7 production support environments
  • ITIL foundation or service management experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM applications, ensuring high availability and timely issue resolution
  • Own and manage incident and service request tickets using tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy
  • Perform triage, root cause analysis (RCA), remediation, and preventive action planning
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance stability and reliability
  • Support month -end, quarter -end, and year -end close processes, including:
  • Planning cycles
  • Financial consolidations
  • Account reconciliations
  • Management and statutory reporting
  • Ensure all activities meet defined SLAs and reporting deadlines
  • Coordinate with Finance and business stakeholders during critical close windows
  • Perform daily operational health checks, including:
  • Integration status
  • Job scheduling and batch execution
  • System alerts and notifications
  • User access and security requests
  • Data validation and reconciliation
  • Monitor and manage:
  • Data loads
  • Business rules
  • Consolidation processes
  • Close orchestration activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration failures across:
  • FDMEE
  • Data Management (DM)
  • ODI / ETL pipelines
  • Execute and support metadata loads and data load processes
  • Maintain Essbase cubes and outlines
  • Resolve security and access issues, including:
  • Role -based access
  • User provisioning
  • Group assignments
  • Data access filters
  • Ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements
