MetaPhase seeks an experienced Oracle database engineer/administrator to support the ongoing sustainment and modernization of a mission-critical system and applications. The role requires experience sustaining an existing Oracle environment while preparing for an imminent database migration. An ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-past national security environment will be critical.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required
6+ years managing Oracle databases for Federal Systems using Oracle 9.0 or higher
Demonstrated experience and ability providing Oracle database administration monitoring and optimization
Experience installing and tailoring database management software and creating and configuring databases, table spaces, and all other related data objects
Demonstrated experience using Oracle DMBS tools (SQL)

Oracle Certified Professional
Experience leading an Oracle to SQL Server migration

Responsibilities

Overseeing and managing the Oracle data environment for a mission-critical system and applications, while preparing for and leading a migration to SQL Server.
Serving as the authoritative database administrator for monitoring and optimizing existing database performance.
Providing technical assistance and guidance to application developers
Troubleshooting and resolving database related issues and problems
