Performs skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and electrical tasks for the repair, alteration, and upkeep of County facilities, equipment, and grounds. The Lead position assists in planning, organizing, and coordinating maintenance and construction activities, while providing guidance and training to assigned staff. Serves in a lead capacity to ensure quality and efficiency in daily operations and specialized maintenance projects. Typical work schedule: Schedule is four 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, additional day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required. This position also includes a $400 annual clothing allowance. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.
