About The Position

As a Senior Optical Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal interdisciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and test. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. A day in the life The Senior Optical Engineer will work closely with a team of optical, mechanical, electrical and software engineers engaged in the design of innovative consumer products. You will have opportunity to be hands-on, manufacturing and validating your designs on-site, in real time. You’ll tackle challenging, novel situations every day and have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before. Along the way, you will learn a lot, have fun and make a positive impact on millions of people.
