Senior Operations Manager - Food Service
About The Position
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in overseeing back-of-the-house (BOH) food service operations, including food supply procurement, warehousing, preparation, and stock management. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the process and duties as detailed in the PWS or other contracted services for the operational management of food service on a military installation. Quality customer service is expected to be always provided to the customer. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job is a requirement of the position.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in food service management or related field.
- Must have a minimum of four (4) of experience supervising or leading teams.
- Must have experience dealing with government personnel/customers concerning contracted services.
- Must have intermediate-level computer skills and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
- Interact appropriately with customers and team members.
- Have good management communication (written and verbal) and people skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
