About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator to support our US Army TENCAP client. The Senior Operations Coordinator will be the Designated Lead Army SETA representative to military units on the planning, training, installation, and fielding of systems.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline; OR,
  • Associate's degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline + 10 years of work experience; OR
  • 15 years of work experience.
  • 10+ years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DOD or IC intelligence systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in a systems engineering position working on DOD programs / projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in a systems engineering management position leading a technical team working on DOD or IC programs / projects.
  • Familiar with system engineering V-model, requirements development, management and traceability, design, development, integration, validation, and verification.
  • Experience with system engineering review process (SRR, PDR, CDR) required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and lead coordination with APM, developer, and Army TENCAP logistician team to streamline and deconflict fielding activities, manage schedules and operation support center (OSC) tasking
  • Serve as Army TENCAP’s SETA representative in the Falcon family of systems’ requirements collection, collaboration, and roadmap development to ensure cross-collaboration amongst Services
  • Define, recommend, and perform continuous evaluation of best practice and roles and responsibilities of military unit and FSRs as it relates to system integration, resource allocation for fielding, sustainment activities, etc.
  • Assist the APM in managing resource expenditures related to requests for travel, equipment/spare purchases, and system(s) and component shipping requests.
  • Represent the program at key leadership engagements, when required
  • Prepare decision justification materials
  • Prepare design studies to identify and address program / project capability gaps
  • Prepare analysis of alternatives and recommendations for decision
  • Prepare study results for presentation to leadership
  • Develop and manage requirement baselines
  • Address configuration and change management
  • Prepare, present, and evaluate technical reviews
  • Execute risk, issue, and opportunity management
  • Coordinate with test and evaluation staff for execution of requirements verification and validation
  • Provide technical input to Simplified Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs) to address the program’s overall acquisition approach, including systems engineering and risk management approaches for TENCAP projects
  • Working knowledge and experience of Army and IC structure
  • Skilled, effective, efficient communicator
