If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Senior Operations Accountant to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. As a Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting, you will support manufacturing and supply chain operations while helping advance Finance’s most valuable behaviors (MVBs) including: intellectual curiosity, problem solving, and continuous improvement. Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of related professional accounting experience with journal entries.
• Experience with large automated financial systems such as SAP or JDE.
• Proficient in MS Office, with high proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
• Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Exercise sound judgment with the ability to take calculated risks and make risk/return recommendations.
• Ability to be discreet with confidential information.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
• Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• CPA Certification.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures used in the CPG industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key finance partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Business Unit Finance teams
• Own and execute core operational accounting activities while continuously improving how the work gets done
• Apply technology, automation, and data-driven thinking to reduce manual effort, improve controls, and increase insight
• Identify trends, explain drivers, and translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
