Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and at least 6 – 9 years of experience in related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Public accounting and monthly closing experience preferred, but not required.
  • CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain Corporate Accounting policies and procedures
  • Support accurate financial reporting by the company in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
  • Oversee internal control monitoring within the department and support internal controls audit
  • Support annual financial statement audit and quarterly reviews
  • Provide technical accounting expertise and research complex accounting issues
  • Monthly financial statement review and variance analysis
  • Obtain variance explanations and report to management
  • Review monthly Corporate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review post-closing reports and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain financial reports within reporting software
  • Resolve problems & issues and implement methods for continuous improvement
  • Other duties may be assigned
