Requirements

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and at least 6 – 9 years of experience in related field.

Nice To Haves

Public accounting and monthly closing experience preferred, but not required.
CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain Corporate Accounting policies and procedures
Support accurate financial reporting by the company in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
Oversee internal control monitoring within the department and support internal controls audit
Support annual financial statement audit and quarterly reviews
Provide technical accounting expertise and research complex accounting issues
Monthly financial statement review and variance analysis
Obtain variance explanations and report to management
Review monthly Corporate balance sheet reconciliations
Review post-closing reports and deliverables
Develop and maintain financial reports within reporting software
Resolve problems & issues and implement methods for continuous improvement
