About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Operational Planner to support our CCMD’s Security Supporting Prosperity Initiative (SPI). Location: MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL Role & Responsibilities: This role places a strong emphasis on integrating influence operations capabilities with intelligence, advanced analytics, information warfare, and strategic effects to produce comprehensive commander’s estimates, operational plans, and operation orders that advance prosperity and economic opportunities. You will develop detailed, actionable plans and papers that translate strategic guidance into coordinated security‑supporting prosperity initiatives and financial operations, activities, and investments (OAIs). You will ensure synchronization of all elements of U.S. national power—Diplomatic, Informational (with a heavy focus on information warfare equities), Military, and Economic (DIME)—to support Homeland Defense, deter Iran and its proxies, and compete with China.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years’ experience. An additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Military service-based training will be considered with relevant years of experience.
  • Significant demonstrated experience with sensitive activities planning, targeting TTPs as well as the US CENTRAL COMMAND historic, current, and emerging threats; have experience in operations assessments, logistics and economic estimates as well as predictive analysis to forecast courses of action that support executive decision making to maximize information warfare equities.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Special Operations Forces (SOF) Planner, Operations Integrator with joint planning and execution background to include in-depth understanding of DoW policies and intelligence integration to synchronize national find-fix targeting resources with the instruments of national power increasing mission readiness.
  • Background in coordinating for planned responses with inter-agency and law enforcement partners to cover a wide range of financial, economic and supply chain scenarios demonstrating the ability to provide operations assessments using a “whole of government” approach to mitigate the challenges of intricate economic environments.
  • Demonstrated abilities in joint operational preparation, planning, execution and adaptation, with background performing operational preparation of the environment (OPE) supporting whole of government (WOG) outcomes.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Current U.S. Passport.
  • Current, Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in CCMD AOR with psychological operations, Information Warfare Operations and Irregular Warfare.
  • In Depth Experience in Special Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Economic Annex of campaign plans and orders.
  • Conduct long‑range and contingency planning across a wide range of economic scenarios, including sanctions enforcement, asset seizure, and supply‑chain disruption.
  • Integrate the efforts of the Economic Defense Strategist, Financial Intelligence Specialist, and Senior Capability and Data Integrator (CDI) into operational orders, leveraging custom tools and analyses provided by the CDI.
  • Coordinate with inter-agency planners to ensure a unified whole‑of‑government approach.
  • Prepare and deliver plan briefings to the Operations Chief and other senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain situational awareness of the economic environment and adjust plans based on real‑time intelligence and emerging events.
