About The Position

The Senior Open Source and AI Engagement Strategist exercises expert judgment to lead non-routine and complex programs, working to set and achieve objectives tied to functional targets. The role may involve coordinating the activities of other team members and providing mentorship to newer staff. This position requires creative problem-solving to address program complexities and ensuring alignment with business goals. You will also serve as a key liaison for cross-functional partnerships. Depending on the organization this role is aligned to, the role may be responsible for internal and/or external client-facing initiatives. This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws. Requirements

  • Strategic Technology Program Management: The ability to lead and manage complex, high-impact programs.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Skill in addressing complex program issues with innovative solutions.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: The ability to guide team members and coordinate activities across multiple teams.
  • Executive Reporting: Expertise in preparing and delivering reports to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management: Advanced skills in managing relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Communication: Expert ability to engage and update key stakeholders.
  • Technology Acumen: Expert understanding of how different technologies work and how they can be used in different contexts to drive business objectives. Guide team members on understanding of technical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of multiple complex programs, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, offering advice and oversight to ensure high-quality program execution.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, ensuring program alignment with customer expectations.
  • Manage program risks and employ creative solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results, maintaining accountability for program outcomes.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports and updates on program progress and outcomes.
  • Coordinate team activities and ensure that program tasks are completed on time and within scope.
