The Children’s Services Department (CSD) promotes the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children as they reunify with their families across the United States, utilizing a child-centric, trauma-responsive approach. CWS, in partnership with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), provides home study and post-release services throughout the U.S. The Senior Officer for Monitoring and Evaluation is responsible for the direct implementation of the HSPRS monitoring, evaluation, and learning framework. This role involves conducting desktop and in-person monitoring activities, beneficiary feedback initiatives, and supporting the Program Implementation team with internal monitoring. The Senior Officer also conducts reviews for potential compliance concerns, ensuring adherence to donor and CWS policies to foster the safety, well-being, and stability of unaccompanied children. The position requires collaborative teamwork, independent work, and frequent domestic travel.
