Job Description Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Interface with Business Finance in the implementation of accounting treatment and schemas Work with business stakeholders, operations users, business finance and project teams on accounting configuration matters Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the various regulator(s). Investigate and participate to any remediation issues impacting existing reports. Improve current processes, procedures and reports including automation of manual processes. Contribute to trade reporting related strategic initiatives. Work with Compliance, Technology, Operations group and business units to manage enhancement and issues resolution, if any. Provide ongoing assessment and awareness of any changes to the regulatory environment landscape and bank’s adherence to its reporting obligations Collaborate with oversea branches and provide oversight on regulatory trade reporting for Korea, EMIR, ASIC. Participate in UAT projects and BAU fixes Provide holiday coverage for regional reporting on rotational basis.

Requirements

Recognized Degree in any one or a combination of these specializations – Banking / Finance / Accountancy / Computing
Minimum 1-3 years Work experience in an operations environment within a financial institution
Knowledge and experience in Global Markets products
Good accounting knowledge
Meticulous and strong analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to execution
Possess problem solving skills and ability to understand complex workflows
Strong communication skills and team player, to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders
Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

Past experience in OTC trade reporting preferred but not necessary.
Proficient with VBA/Macro is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities
