About The Position

CHS Primeland is seeking an experienced administrative professional for the role of Senior Office Assistant in Walla Walla, WA. The Senior Office Assistant will perform general administrative duties, ensuring tasks are completed on time and with high quality. Key responsibilities include answering phone calls, assisting visitors, processing invoices, managing inventory, and performing accurate data entry. The role also involves coordinating truck freight schedules, maintaining files, and managing office supplies. Additionally, the Senior Office Assistant will schedule meetings, prepare presentations, and communicate effectively with managers, board members, and patrons. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Office and Facilities Services
  • 2+ years of experience in Administration Support
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Farming background or agriculture/fertilizer experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting software, preferred

Responsibilities

  • With limited supervision, complete general administrative duties on time with high quality.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, greet and assist visitors, and direct patrons to appropriate personnel.
  • Set up customer contracts, process invoices, transfer documents and perform accurate data entry into various systems.
  • Collect direct payments, reconcile credit card receipts, and prepare deposits.
  • Assemble and maintain files including accurately entering all information, keeping files updated and maintaining complete electronic file documentation.
  • Order office supplies and maintain a clean office.
  • Schedule meetings, arrange facilities, logistics and catering and distribute meeting information.
  • Provide clear communication with location managers, board members, and patrons.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet all required timelines.
  • Maintain a full understanding of company products and services.
  • Work with sensitive material and maintain highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
