JOB ADVERTISEMENT APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION: SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours per Week) ST VINCENTS SERVICES, LIMERICK Salary: € 63,912- € 75,254 Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience. REF: 90419 Avista is looking for a Senior Occupational therapist with excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and change management skills. Successful candidate will be based and required to work with the frontline team in a highly supported specialised residential unit designed for individuals with complex and stress behaviours. The Senior Occupational Therapist will be required to monitor impact of individualized support services, to lead and co-ordinate with the person in charge and the management team in the delivery of quality Occupational Therapy service to individuals supported in the specialist service area. The ideal candidate will be a creative critical thinker, innovative who is committed to supporting and enabling individuals we support to live their best lives as active citizens in an inclusive society through the delivery of quality services and governance systems that operate in line with Avista’s core values.
Requirements
- A BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Up to date CORU registration.
- At least 3 years’ post qualification experience.
- Experience of working with Adults with Mental Health, Autism, Intellectual disabilities with complex and stress behaviours
- Experience with Sensory processing
- Full Clean Driving Licence and use of a car.
