The Senior Nurse Scientist – Brown University Health System provides enterprise-level expertise and leadership in the development, design, implementation, and dissemination of nurse-driven research, quality improvement (QI), and evidence-based practice (EBP) across Brown University Health. The role advances a culture of inquiry and builds infrastructure that enables multi-site clinical inquiry. The Senior Nurse Scientist partners with nursing and interprofessional leaders to establish standardized processes, foster collaboration, and secure resources to support and scale research, QI, and EBP initiatives. In doing so, this role helps position Brown University Health as a premier center for nursing research and innovation demonstrating impact through measurable patient, workforce, operational, and financial outcomes.
