About The Position

Nurse Anesthetists administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures. Bring your passion for team building and driving excellence to the anesthesia department in Bronxville, NY. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Chief CRNA. The Senior Nurse Anesthetist will be responsible for meeting the expectations of Perioperative Services Leadership as well as the Department of Anesthesiology. Duties will include assisting the Chief CRNA with daily operational and administrative duties, providing operational leadership coverage when the Chief CRNA is unavailable, as well as providing quality anesthesia and analgesia care to patients in the Anesthesia Care Team model of practice. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements

  • At least three (3) years CRNA experience with demonstrated peer leadership and additional administrative management experience
  • Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • BCLS certification
  • Knowledge of scheduling software and personnel management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Chief CRNA with daily operational and administrative duties
