The New York Times Newsroom Operations team is looking for a news assistant to work on our Newsletters desk in a support role with varied tasks and responsibilities. You will be an engaged and collegial team member with an interest in news who is able to support reporters and editors across a range of logistical and operational responsibilities. Organization, flexibility and a desire to learn new skills are critical to success in this role. Writing skills and a passion for Times journalism are a must, as our news assistant assigned to this desk is called upon to help with research and reporting. This is an in-office position, based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office four days each week.
