We are strengthening our internal IT function to support this growing, multi-location organization. This role is a key hire who will own network and systems performance, solve complex issues, and help build a more scalable IT foundation. This position is ideal for someone who has been wearing multiple hats in a smaller environment and is ready to take on more ownership and influence. In this role, you will act as an escalation point for network and systems issues (Tier 2/3), troubleshoot connectivity, outages, and performance across approximately 40 locations, and support and standardize network infrastructure (FortiGate, UniFi). You will also identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes, support Azure-based infrastructure and identity environment (Entra ID), contribute to infrastructure improvements and documentation, and help establish processes that scale as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, VPNs)
  • Working knowledge of Azure + Entra ID
  • Working knowledge of Hybrid environments (cloud + some on-prem)
  • Background in a lean IT environment (not highly siloed)

Nice To Haves

  • FortiGate and/or UniFi preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-location environments
  • Exposure to migrations (on-prem cloud)
  • Basic scripting or automation experience

Responsibilities

  • Act as escalation point for network and systems issues (Tier 2/3)
