About The Position

Lionsgate is seeking a Senior Security Network Engineer to join its Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will have experience deploying network segmentation at the application level, as well as experience with managing security controls, and defining policies on administration devices such as Cisco next gen firewalls, IDS/IPS platforms, and email/web filtering solutions. The candidate should have experience in AWS and Azure cloud migration and operations, along with technical expertise in working with security solutions such as Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, DUO, Cisco AMP, and Securewerks. 5+ years of network security experience and reviewing security tools and solutions and making recommendations

Requirements

  • Posses technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, LAN, WAN and TCP/IP
  • Have extensive knowledge with security software, firewalls, intrusion detection systems and other security systems and network monitoring solutions
  • 5+ years experience with commercial and open source security applications and technologies such as malware prevention, DLP, IDS/IPS, cryptography, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, as well as related protocols and tools (i.e. SSH, SSL/TLS, snort, port scanners, rootkit detectors, etc.)
  • Experience performing network and application security administration, penetration testing and/or threat assessments
  • GIAC certification or equivalent experience
  • SANS GSEC certificate (security essentials) or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk assessments, and identify vulnerabilities within our network
  • Manage Cisco Firepower Management Center, create security policies, IDS/IPS policies, patch, upgrade and perform scheduled maintenance when required
  • Defining policies for our network administration devices i.e Cisco Firepower Threat Defense and our Adaptive Security Appliances
  • Work in conjunction with our Security team in defining policies and procedures for our secure platforms such as Cisco Umbrella, Secure X, and Duo
  • Manage upgrades, install patches, and perform scheduled maintenance on our identity services engine platform
  • Resolve technical faults, and effectively allocate resources to deliver viable solutions in a cost-effective way
  • Network and security documentation
  • Understanding CIS frameworks
