About The Position

To this end, this position requires a commitment to creating and maintaining a culture that “Expects Recovery” and “Encourages Gentleness.” This is an administrative position responsible for assisting in the continued operation of the data network system, simple to complex network programming, development and implementation of future expansion of the data network system, and providing end-user support, hardware repairs, maintenance, upgrades for servers, phone networks, as well as routers and switches. The individual in this position exercises judgment in application of data processing policies and procedures under minimal supervision. Work is normally reviewed only for compliance with desired results. This position is supervised by an Administrative Manager as assigned.

Requirements

  • Any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform position duties.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information System or Cyber Security.
  • Five years of progressively responsible related training and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years network experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years VOIP experience required.
  • Specific knowledge and training in system administration, system security, Service logs and troubleshooting.
  • Application mastery is needed over Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Network operations, Desktop Operating systems (Windows 11), Server Operating Systems (Server 2016 and above)
  • Extensive technical knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining large-scale, highly available, Internet facing networks

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Teams and Teams Voice experience highly desired.
  • High degree of skill and knowledge in SQL, Veeam, Cisco Catalyst Switches.
  • Cisco and Microsoft certificates are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud-First Infrastructure Management Entra ID Architecture: Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management, including Conditional Access policies and Single Sign-On integrations for third-party applications.
  • Intune & Endpoint Management: Architect and maintain Microsoft Intune for automated device enrollment, configuration profiles, and compliance policies across Windows and mobile platforms.
  • Apple Business Manager: Manage the integration between ABM and Intune to ensure seamless DEP and VPP workflows for all Apple hardware.
  • Cloud Networking: Design and manage Azure virtual networks, Network Security Groups, and Azure Load Balancers to support persistent Azure VM workloads.
  • Network Security & SD-WAN Operations Palo Alto Firewall Administration: Lead the configuration and maintenance of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), including GlobalProtect VPN, SSL decryption, and advanced threat prevention profiles.
  • Cisco Meraki SD-WAN: Optimize and manage a multi-site SD-WAN architecture using Meraki MX appliances to ensure high availability and intelligent traffic routing.
  • Wireless Infrastructure: Oversee the deployment and tuning of Meraki Access Points, leveraging WPA3-Enterprise and Entra ID-based authentication for secure wireless access.
  • Emergency Alerting Systems: Maintain and periodically test the organization's critical employee emergency alerting system to ensure 100% reliability during incidents.
  • Core Network Services & Virtualization Expert-Level Connectivity: Provide high-level administration for DNS and DHCP services, ensuring zero-latency resolution and efficient IP address management.
  • Advanced Routing: Configure and troubleshoot complex routing protocols and VLAN tagging across both physical and virtual environments.
  • Hybrid Virtualization: Manage and maintain legacy or specialized local VMware environments while leading the lifecycle management of Azure-hosted Virtual Machines.
  • Administrative & Lifecycle Management Domain & DNS Governance: Act as the primary custodian for corporate domain registrations and external DNS records, ensuring timely renewals and security (DNSSEC).
  • Procurement & Budgeting: Responsible for generating Purchase Orders, evaluating vendor quotes, and managing the hardware lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
  • M365 Ecosystem Support: Provide Tier 3 support for the broader Microsoft 365 suite, ensuring network performance is optimized for Teams, Teams Voice, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
