We are seeking a Senior Murex Support Engineer to provide expert support for Murex systems, focusing on front office workflows and trading processes. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact for front office users, ensuring smooth system operations and effective issue resolution. Please note that working from the office 3 days per week is required.

Requirements

  • Several years working experience with Murex and its functional modules
  • Solid understanding of front office workflows and trading processes
  • Proven ability to support production environments and resolve functional issues under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Navigate servers to retrieve logs
  • Cover fixed income scope including FX desks, rates, cross-currency and credit
  • Leverage development expertise, onboard new products and optimize processes during downtime
  • Communicate with strats and quants
  • Demonstrate functional expertise in RDBS and Datamart
  • Act as the main point of contact for front office users regarding Murex functionality and trade impacts
  • Provide day-to-day production support and resolve system or configuration issues
  • Investigate and fix configuration breaks to ensure accurate trade processing
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to improve system performance and functionality
