About The Position

The Sr. Multimedia Productions Specialist (SMPS) will serve as a key member of the Multimedia Production Division under the direction of the Executive Creative Producer and Executive Director. This role encompasses responsibilities in video editing, camera operation, photography, audio engineering, and overall multimedia production. The position requires strong technical skills, creative vision, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through completion. This is an in-office role at the Corporate Office with occasional travel (Approximately 20%), including weekends and overnight stays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Film, Cinematography, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in multimedia production.
  • Portfolio REQUIRED, showcasing production and video editing work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, Photoshop, Media Encoder).
  • Strong knowledge of production for sets and travel shoots, including lighting, audio, and staging.
  • Experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and directing.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (Approximately 20%), including weekends and overnight.
  • Creative mindset with interviewing and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Lead Video Editor for pre-recorded footage and multimedia projects.
  • Serve as Lead camera operator for in-field video shoots and photography events.
  • Capture in-field interviews and assist with audio engineering needs on-site.
  • Lead or assist in live productions of Public Meetings or Hearings and other events.
  • Create shot lists, scripts, storyboards, packing lists, and other pre-production documentation.
  • Maintain and manage multimedia equipment upkeep and readiness.
  • Archive, export, and import products to Quest servers.
  • Assist with PowerPoint audio editing and live streaming (GoTo Webinar Meetings / Public hearings or Meetings).
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new projects and creative concepts.
  • Interact with associates on video editing-related services and provide technical support.
  • Ensure time management and meet deadlines consistently across multiple projects.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with multimedia leadership and attend weekly/monthly team meetings.
  • Complete reports regarding multimedia tasks and project progress.
