Senior Multidisciplinary Engineer ($150-250K + Equity) at Unlimited

Jack & Jill/External ATSSan Fransisco, CA
4d$150,000 - $250,000

About The Position

Join a high-octane team reinventing how the physical world is built. You will leverage deep engineering expertise and AI tools to automate complex infrastructure design—data centers, power plants, and mining facilities. This role is for hands-on builders who want to compress months-long pre-construction timelines into weeks and revolutionize global industrial construction. Why this role is remarkable: Join a founding team backed by $12M from Andreessen Horowitz and CIV, working on massive real-world projects valued at nearly half a billion dollars. Influence the development of an AI-native engineering platform that generates tens of thousands of design configurations to optimize cost and performance 10x faster than incumbents. Work in an "Elon-style" high-intensity environment with relocation support to San Francisco and a focus on shipping hard, physical infrastructure at scale.

Requirements

  • 7-15 years of experience shipping complex physical products at elite companies like Tesla, SpaceX, Anduril, Rivian, or Neuralink.
  • A multidisciplinary mindset with the ability to think across the full stack (mechanical, electrical, systems) rather than working in a siloed specialty.
  • Hands-on builder mentality with a track record of sticking with hard projects through testing and iteration; no project managers or consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Use domain expertise across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering to build AI-driven automation workflows for complex infrastructure design.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to define physics-based constraints and trade-offs, ensuring generated designs are safe, performant, and ready for construction.
  • Iterate rapidly on real-world engineering products, moving from concept to shippable design while working directly with a vertically integrated construction team.

Benefits

  • Equity
  • relocation support to San Francisco
