About The Position
As employee #7, you will build the world's first agent orchestration platform specifically for finance. You'll design sophisticated systems that allow AI agents to navigate GAAP rules and complex multi-step workflows. This role is perfect for engineers who want to 10x their velocity using AI while maintaining elite engineering fundamentals. Massive ownership as the 4th engineer on a 6-person founding team, directly influencing the product's architectural direction and technical culture. High-velocity environment with $3.4M in Seed funding from premier Silicon Valley VCs and a product already in private alpha with top-tier CFOs. Unique opportunity to define "AI-native engineering" by building internal systems that leverage coding agents to ship mission-critical financial infrastructure at frontier speeds.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing scalable system abstractions and building robust scaffolds that ensure high-quality code outputs at scale.
- Passion for AI-frontier development and a desire to master the use of coding agents to radically accelerate engineering cycles without sacrificing quality.
- Strong product intuition with the ability to break down complex financial problems into parallelizable work streams and autonomous agent tasks.
Responsibilities
- Architect agent orchestration infrastructure that maintains deep context and institutional knowledge across complex, multi-step financial workflows.
- Build a high-performance reconciliation engine capable of processing millions of rows and ingesting real-time data from ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems.
- Ship weekly customer-facing features based on direct feedback from CFOs, iterating rapidly on the balance between human direction and AI execution.
