Senior Motion Graphics Artist

Enough about us, here’s what we’re looking for: We’re currently looking for a freelance Senior Motion Graphics Artist to join our digital team as a remote independent contractor. This role will work closely with our creative teams, specifically our Digital/Social sector, collaborating daily on high-profile entertainment campaigns.
Requirements
- Experience in motion graphics, VFX, compositing, and animating still assets
- Advanced proficiency with After Effects and native 3D, cameras, and lights
- Experience with common plugins (Maxon, Optical Flares, etc)
- Understanding of digital video formats and export settings
- Proven cinematic design sensibility and ability to make a visual connection to the project narrative
- A fast, reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large files
- Highly reliable, self-disciplined, and comfortable working independently with tight turnarounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- You will create animated motion posters from key art, for Digital, Social, and OOH
- As a senior designer, you’ll bring an elevated and polished animation that goes beyond the basics
- Collaborate with existing motion design team and oversight from senior staff
- Work constructively with producers, account managers, or other team members, as applicable
- Understand and use appropriate templates, toolkits, PSDs, fonts, and other AE projects created internally or provided by clients
- Occasionally ideate motion storyboards and concepts
