Job Summary CBC Mortgage Agency is seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at our national headquarters in the South Jordan, Utah area. In this role, you will act as the primary performer of the tasks and workflow of the application while the loan is in process, managing a high-volume pipeline from initial submission through to closing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in processing FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loans, and is looking for a stable, fast-paced environment with a national presence. Work Location: This role is based in our SLC headquarters, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule (combining in-office and remote work) after the initial onboarding period. Pipeline Management: Manage a high-volume pipeline of residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo), ensuring files are accurate, complete, and move through the process efficiently. Document Review & Verification: Thoroughly review loan applications, income, assets, and credit documentation to identify potential red flags and ensure accuracy. Underwriting Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers, proactively clearing conditions to obtain a "Clear to Close". AUS Familiarity: Proficiently run and interpret desktop underwriting systems (DU/LPA). Documentation Ordering: Order and verify third-party reports, including appraisals, title reports, flood certifications, and VOEs. Compliance: Ensure all loan files comply with federal, state, and company policies, including TRID regulations. Communication: Provide regular status updates to borrowers, loan officers, and real estate agents to ensure a smooth, timely closing.
