About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator for our Smithville, Texas Plant. In this role you will support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As an Mobile Equipment Operator you will work with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment Day to Day Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition Operate at least 3 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) Operate equipment in quarry or production Must have excavator, dozer and dredge experience. Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations. Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
  • Positive, Team-based attitude
  • The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
  • The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience
