About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator based out of our Cameron, TX Plant. As a Mobile Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

Requirements

• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Operate at least 2 pieces of Heavy Equipment (haul truck, backhoe, front-end loader, dozer or excavator)

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• The ability to operate two pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, dozer or excavator etc.)
• Operate equipment in quarry or production
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift on equipment to maintain equipment in good working condition
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work environment.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
