About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer to support enterprise system initiatives in a collaborative environment. This role focuses on configuring, developing, and enhancing Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and integrated Azure-based solutions to support critical business processes and end users As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer you will be responsible for leading enterprise system development efforts, designing scalable solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, supporting business process improvements, and ensuring secure, high-performing integrations across platforms and applications.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse, including solution customization, security roles, business rules, and JavaScript customizations.
  • Strong experience developing plugins, custom workflow activities, and PCF controls within the Dynamics platform.
  • Advanced Power Platform expertise, including Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
  • Strong front-end development experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building secure integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD, REST, SOAP, and Microsoft Graph.
  • Experience implementing Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Dynamics Web Portals with real-time payment capabilities.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics CE and F&O using Logic Apps.
  • Experience developing and maintaining APIs integrating with third-party SAS applications.
  • Experience enhancing Azure Bot Framework and chatbot solutions.
  • Experience maintaining custom code within Azure DevOps environments.
  • Experience enhancing out-of-the-box functionality within Finance & Operations modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Credit & Collections.
  • Experience configuring enterprise software, conducting system testing, and developing end-user procedures.
  • 8+ years of enterprise system experience supporting enterprise applications, technical assistance, system testing, and business process development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Microsoft certifications in relevant technical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or participate in project teams supporting enterprise system initiatives and application development life cycle activities, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse solutions, including tables, forms, views, business rules, security roles, and solution management.
  • Develop custom plugins, workflow activities, PCF controls, JavaScript form customizations, and Web API integrations within the Dynamics platform.
  • Build and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Automate flows integrated with internal and external systems.
  • Architect and develop secure RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, C#, VB.NET, Node.js, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Develop React and TypeScript single-page applications following modern UI/UX, accessibility, and performance best practices.
  • Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices, including solution layering, environment strategies, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and maintain integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure Active Directory, REST, SOAP, Microsoft Graph, and Logic Apps.
  • Develop and maintain real-time integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Support and enhance Dynamics Web Portals, including secure real-time payment processing capabilities.
  • Enhance Azure Bot Framework and chatbot solutions to automate business processes and improve customer engagement.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve enterprise system issues to support end users and business operations.
  • Develop and maintain Business Process Procedures (BPPs), test scripts, and supporting system documentation.
  • Conduct system testing, coordinate cross-functional implementation efforts, and validate successful deployment of changes.
  • Review legislative, regulatory, and operational changes to determine system impacts and required modifications.
  • Monitor business systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Participate in training and support activities for end users.
