As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS), you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading technical projects, defining the technical roadmap, and mentoring fellow engineers. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge DRAM process solutions to support yield ramp-up. Your contribution will leave a lasting impact on the DRAM industry. A Senior Member of Technical Staff in our Films group is responsible for optimizing and driving diffusion processes, including oxide growth, poly deposition, and high-temperature anneals to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing. This role collaborates with multi-functionall teams to drive yield improvements, solve process issues, and implement cost-effective solutions. The MTS contributes to technology transfer, process stability, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring robust performance and scalability within the ATE organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in the semiconductor industry
  • High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) experience as a leader or high-level individual contributor
  • Detailed knowledge of thin films, diffusion, or implant
  • Proven experience leading high-value technical projects
  • In depth experience in Diffusion/CVD – HVM startup
  • Expertise in Diffusion/CVD in a High Volume Manufacturing fab, working on yield issues, process issues, and tool ramp
  • Expertise in leading and driving productivity and cost reduction projects in the Diffusion/CVD area

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of Process Integration
  • Knowledge of other semiconductor process areas (wet etch, dry etch, etc.)
  • Master’s degree or higher in Engineering domain
  • DRAM product experience

Responsibilities

  • Own critical taskforce, take ownership of critical initiatives, and leading multi-functional technical team to execute new tech node yield roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with process integration, technology development, and local yield teams to improve new technology.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and career development.
  • Cultivate an innovative perspective, seeking opportunities for process improvements that align with state-of-the-art product requirement while optimizing costs.
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of process engineering and its impact on overall process health.
  • Provide engineering support to internal team members and senior leadership.
