About The Position

We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility
OVERVIEW
Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years experience in pressure systems, heat exchanger and/or other related systems to support wind tunnel test facility refurbishment.

Requirements

• Experience developing piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID)
• Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)
• Experience in design and verification of pressure systems and related hardware (i.e. heat exchangers,
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and phone skills.
• Ability to hear normal conversation. One eye (minimum) correctable to 20/20.
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations
• Familiarity with aerospace and/or aerospace related facility projects
• Ability to design in solid modeling software a plus

Responsibilities

• Specify pipe/fittings by media, flow, pressure/temperature rating.
• Interpret, understand, and create system P&ID’s.
• Understand & implement code-compliant system design and fabrication methods.
• Evaluate and select instruments, control valves, regulators, pressure safety devices, etc.
• Understand the fluid mechanics of pressurized systems and how different components work and interact.
• Be on-site for support of the fabrication & commissioning phases.
• Update project technical leads with schedule and task information
• Work with technicians to properly install and test hardware
