About The Position

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior MBSE Systems Engineer for support to the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Program Office (PMA-234) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will support PMA-234 Next Generation Jammer Low Band (NGJ-LB) efforts with model-based engineering focused on capability definition, interfaces, integration considerations, and verification readiness. This billet emphasizes disciplined modeling that can survive high-stakes integration conversations, turning complex EW/mission-system interactions into structured, reviewable model products. Location is on-site as required.

Requirements

  • Must have a have a master’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university or a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of systems engineering / MBSE experience on DoD mission systems or equivalent complex programs
  • Hands-on SysML modeling experience and ability to produce clean, reviewable views for technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with interface definition practices and verification fundamentals
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, review-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Active Top Secret required; TS/SCI eligibility a plus.
  • Selected candidate must be able to pass a background investigation
  • Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Build and refine SysML model elements that capture system context, mission threads, functional allocations, and interfaces for EW/jammer-related capabilities in WBBB RIBS-P format.
  • Support interface alignment across subsystems and external dependencies by maintaining model-backed interface definitions and connection logic.
  • Assist with requirements traceability and change impact analysis using model structure to expose downstream effects (interfaces, behaviors, verification).
  • Contribute to model-based verification planning support (what gets verified, where, and how) and help prepare stakeholder-ready views for reviews.
  • Apply program modeling conventions and support model housekeeping, governance, and publishing (packages, viewpoints, and review sets).
