We are seeking an experienced Senior Materials Program Manager to join Oura's Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for executing materials planning processes and ensuring effective communication within our global Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and excellent analytical skills. The Materials Program Manager will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain operations, working closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), suppliers, and internal teams to bring our product vision to life. This is a hybrid role, the candidate needs to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come into the office 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain / Materials Planning role, or a related field
  • Experience working in consumer electronics and/or hardware companies
  • Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to establish and improve processes in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; expertise working with large datasets
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with MRP and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process with suppliers and CMs, providing visibility to supply availability, inventory levels, and risk assessments and mitigation
  • Utilize materials and supply chain data to recommend and inform supply chain strategies
  • Develop material strategies to optimize material availability and minimize E&O
  • Manage allocation strategies for constrained materials across factories and programs
  • Simulate and analyze liability scenarios and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and manage key supply chain data and metrics
  • Lead weekly materials reviews, preparing and presenting updates on material status, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Work with CMs and suppliers to track and project material availability and resolve materials-related issues
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive supply chain readiness for NPI programs and/or program EOL
  • Be a voice of supply chain to influence program decisions, implement supply chain strategies, and improve operational efficiency
  • Support the implementation and utilization of supply chain systems for end-to-end component tracking and inventory planning
  • Willingness to travel up to 2-3 times per quarter internationally and domestically
