About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Serves as a lead in the distribution of materials. Ideal candidate will have materials management or supply chain experience in the healthcare industry and will have experience ordering products. The candidate will work in the Woodlands Monday - Friday 7am-5pm. JOB FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Leads assigned shift and provides work direction, counseling and coaching. Participates in the preparation of daily work assignments. Coordinates supply replenishment. Performs cart maintenance. Performs just-in-time (JIT) receiving function. Assists with inventory management via cycle counts. Assists with preparing and performing annual inventories. Maintains and prepares emergency "Crash Carts". Stores, dispenses, picks up, and delivers linens, patient supplies and equipment. Conducts daily equipment safety inspections. Assists in coordinating inventories. Stocks, delivers and maintains 24-hour par level locations and/or exchange carts in patient supply, equipment and linen areas. Operates automated information systems to support daily operations. May assist with stocking, cleaning, or transporting in areas where Medications are delivered or stored to ensure Medications are secured appropriately (e.g., transporting medications from pick up location (pharmacy) to give to the Licensed Health Care Provider (LHP), or to place in the Medication room). Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5 years Relevant work experience to include three years in inventory, logistics or a related field.
  • 3 years Business or administrative experience to include two years in logistics, inventory or a related field with preferred Associate's degree.
  • 1 year Experience in business, administrative, logistics, inventory, or related field with preferred Bachelor's degree.
  • Must have excellent customer service and be a team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
  • Healthcare materials management experience, supply chain, inventory.
  • Experience with ordering and using system Tecsys.
