We work with pharmaceutical partners and international regulatory agencies across the globe to develop companion diagnostics, which are necessary to gain approval of new drugs and treatments for cancer patients. Our harmonized ISO15189 accredited and CLIA/CAP clinical laboratories offer a test menu focused on biomarkers which are clinically actionable to support therapeutic decisions, measurable residual disease (MRD) testing, patient stratification, and trial enrollment, all designed to accelerate approvals of new oncology drugs and treatments. For 30 years, we have been at forefront of precision diagnostics, and we’re just getting started! We are looking to add a Senior Material Handler responsible for assuring the timely processing of shipments in accordance with internal procedures by assembling and organizing materials that are needed for shipments of materials. S/he may assist with training and observing lower-level associates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and, typically, 2 - 4 years of applicable experience, to include 2+ years of experience with ISO 13485 or other similarly regulated industry; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Applied experience in an ERP system; Oracle Cloud is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new software programs to include Oracle ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Performs the required Shipping tasks for the shipment of materials by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Ensures that international shipments meet all of the export requirements and procedures, including electronic submissions of EEI via ACE system
  • Ensures materials are sequestered for designated use (i.e.: Sales Agreement, Sales Order “Holds”, etc.)
  • Maintains knowledge of shipping carrier procedures and policies.
  • Assists with Cycle Count program; performing cycle counts and completing count listing sheets.
  • Assists with the maintenance of the shipping general inventory, adjusting the PAR/MAX inventory levels as consumption rates change. Completes purchase requisition worksheets in ERP, as necessary.
  • Assists with the creation and implementation of Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR), Work Instructions (WI’s), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Shipping department.
  • Assists with all shipping protocol/validations required to support business continuity and projects.
  • Creates Non-Conformance Reports and Process Deviations and submits to Quality for review and approval.
  • Completes assigned tasks for audit and vendor Corrective Action Reports (CAPA’s)
  • Assists with internal and external audits.
  • Assists with the creation and monitoring of department budget
  • Monitors the temperature-controlled cold storage and warehouse locations; performs preventative maintenance on cold storage equipment.
  • Maintains a clean, organized work environment to facilitate efficient execution of job functions.
  • May contribute to training other associates as required and ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are followed
