Requirements

Extensive experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably at a Ford dealership.
Advanced certifications: Required Ford factory certifications. The highest certification is "Senior Master Technician".
In-depth knowledge of all vehicle systems, components, and repair procedures.
Exceptional diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical, electrical, and technical problems.
High level of technical proficiency with specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
Strong leadership abilities to serve as a mentor and resource for other technicians.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to explain technical details clearly and build trust.
Superior problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical dexterity and the ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics on all vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and climate control, using sophisticated tools and equipment.
Conduct complex repairs and intricate maintenance services with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, following all manufacturer warranty and factory standards.
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for other technicians, providing guidance on difficult repairs and diagnostic procedures.
Stay current on all manufacturer technical bulletins and new technologies through continuous factory-sponsored training and certification programs.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain diagnostic findings, repair options, and recommendations.
Perform quality inspections and thorough test drives to ensure all issues are resolved to the highest standard.
Document all work performed on repair orders clearly and accurately.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Manage customer satisfaction by building trust and providing exceptional service.
