As we continue expanding our marketing practice, we’re hiring a Marketing Strategist to play a central role in how we deliver strategy and campaigns. This is an AI-forward role for a growth strategist who owns outcomes, prioritizes ruthlessly, and keeps momentum week to week. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and client leadership. You’ll translate business goals into clear marketing plans and own them from kickoff through delivery. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who can think strategically, move work forward independently, and drive measurable impact. AI should be a natural part of your marketing stack, helping you explore ideas, iterate quickly, and increase output across strategy and execution. This is not a coordinator or execution-only role. You’ll be expected to make trade-offs, focus on what moves the needle, and deliver real value for clients. It is ideal for someone who has worked in agency environments or early-stage startups and is comfortable operating across many marketing disciplines. About the Role We’re looking for a sharp, AI-forward marketing generalist who can translate client goals into clear strategies and drive those strategies forward across channels. At Big Human, we operate as a strategic growth partner to our clients, not an execution layer brought in for extra bandwidth. This means Marketing Strategists are responsible for identifying what will actually move the needle and focusing efforts there. You’ll be expected to prioritize what matters most, make clear trade-offs, and guide clients toward the highest-impact work. Our goal is not to do more marketing. It’s to do the right marketing. You’ll work across a wide range of initiatives, including platform strategy, campaigns, SEO and AI-driven search, GTM, and performance optimization. You will often be the primary owner of a client’s marketing workstream, responsible for: Designing the strategy Managing execution Coordinating with collaborators Leading client communication Tracking performance and iteration This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll be expected to think at a high level while also ensuring work moves forward week to week. It’s fast-paced, high-ownership, rewarding work. You’ll help shape how companies grow, make decisions that have real impact, and see your ideas turn into measurable results.
