About The Position

As a Senior Marketing & Sales Operations Representative for Cat Rental & Used, you will play a critical and exciting role at the intersection of strategy, dealer enablement, and commercial execution. This role serves as the Cat Rental & Used subject-matter expert for Used Operations, translating 2030 Used Strategy into action & enabling dealers and field teams to grow their profitable Used equipment business. You will lead and influence high-impact Used initiatives across the Cat Certified Used (CCU) program, training, compliance, performance insights, and dealer communications—turning data, standards, and insights into clear direction and measurable results. This is a key role that partners closely with field teams, dealers, and internal stakeholders to shape how Used operations are executed across the network. The role is impactful through dealer & field enablement by simplifying CCU requirements and strengthening execution, translating Used strategy into practical tools and insights, owning CCU performance reviews, leading training programs for dealer capability building, and acting as a trusted cross-functional partner.

Nice To Haves

  • A college or university degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related discipline
  • Heavy Equipment or Auction Industry experience
  • Strong background in strategy-to-execution leadership including governance, prioritization, and outcome tracking
  • Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong attention to detail & ability to analyze, influence, and deliver impactful messaging
  • Knowledge or experience with CCU, CVA, and EPP, or similar programs
  • Experience working with global teams and within a matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Cat Rental & Used expert for Cat Certified Used (CCU) program
  • Coordinate CCU, CVA (Customer Value Agreements), and Extended Protection Plan (EPP) initiatives across dealers and field teams
  • Lead CCU performance reviews, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Prepare insights and discussion points for leadership and stakeholder reviews
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure performance metrics are understood and actionable
  • Lead or contribute to Used and CCU training programs for dealers and internal teams
  • Ensure training materials align with business priorities and dealer needs
  • Own and produce the monthly Used Equipment market intelligence report, delivering clear, actionable insights and updates
  • Communicate changes, expectations, and dealer practices related to Used operations and CCU
