We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager who will drive meaningful engagement with the Discogs brand—building awareness among a new generation of collectors while deepening relationships with our loyal, long-standing community. This person will help communicate the value of Discogs at scale, translating our unique position in music culture into compelling, impactful marketing. The ideal candidate operates at the intersection of music culture, content, lifecycle marketing, performance-driven growth, and community engagement. This is a leadership role for someone who: Is deeply embedded in music and/or record collecting culture Engages with music community authentically, with enthusiasm, credibility, and empathy Understands collector psychology and motivations, from new collectors to seasoned obsessives Brings both a strategic mindset and operational rigor Leads with data, insight, and a strong sense of community Sees content as the core engine powering discovery, engagement, and conversion Understands the tools and technology required to operate a modern performance marketing ecosystem Translates vision into impactful, measurable execution Has a sharp understanding of the market—from anticipated new releases to what makes specific pressings collectible Possesses a strong grasp of brand strategy and knows how to unlock its full potential Can activate and scale the passion of millions of music fans by leveraging user-generated content (UGC) to deepen engagement Is a clear communicator who can distill complex ideas into actionable direction Thrives in both ambiguity and clarity, guiding teams through evolving priorities Is a positive, inspiring leader who knows how to unlock the potential of individuals and teams, enabling them to do their best work You will serve as a critical bridge between Brand & Product Design leadership and the teams responsible for content, lifecycle, campaigns, and performance marketing—ensuring that everything Discogs brings to market is culturally authentic, highly discoverable, and operationally excellent. This role is equal parts community steward, growth driver, and team leader.
