The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that elevate brand positioning, drive demand, and support revenue growth across all hotel outlets. This role leads integrated marketing efforts—including brand management, digital marketing, public relations, partnerships, and campaign execution—while ensuring alignment with the hotel’s luxury standards and overall business objectives. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and cross-functional leaders, the Senior Marketing Manager translates market insights and guest data into compelling storytelling and high-impact programs that enhance visibility, engagement, and guest loyalty in competitive luxury markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Public Relations, or a related field; or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in marketing position with at least 2 years in a hotel marketing, strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, paid media, social media marketing, email marketing and content creation.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and literary skills to work with various internal teams, management and potentially external clients.
  • Ability to create and edit along brand standards literary content, promotional newsletters, and direct marketing messages as needed.
  • Previous experience with hotel-specific systems like CRMS’s and reservations platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to be accountable, reliable and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain The Loren Hotel Austin standards of conduct and appearance.
  • Manage and oversee third party contractors as needed.
  • Excellent hearing necessary for verbal interaction with guests and associates.
  • Excellent vision necessary to view set-ups.
  • Excellent speech communication skills required for verbal interaction with guests and associates.
  • Excellent literacy necessary to read and post data content of marketing communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel management experience, preferred.
  • Previous work experience with graphic design, photography, video creating and editing, print and collateral.
  • Previous experience using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Austin’s hospitality and events scene, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a content strategy, including managing social media channels, creating advertising campaigns, and producing content for print, including all hotel collateral, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Create and manage digital marketing campaigns that align with business objectives, which can include everything from building brand awareness to driving direct bookings and ensure profitability and effectiveness.
  • Oversee and execute paid digital advertising campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO/SEM), and email marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report daily, weekly, monthly on key digital marketing metrics and ROI to assess performance and identify trends and file and organize data.
  • Manage and grow social media communities through strategic engagement with followers and potential guests.
  • Work with other departments, such as sales and revenue management, to set digital sales goals and ensure a cohesive marketing strategy.
  • Maintain and lead weekly meetings on Austin property offers, packages, and activations.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with internal execution plans.
  • Oversee the marketing of room and F&B packages, activations, and events.
  • Coordinate event graphics, website updates, in-room TV promotions, and press releases.
  • Develop and distribute newsletters and promotional e-blasts through Revinate.
  • Provide performance reporting for email campaigns.
  • Manage website updates, including event listings, press articles, restaurant menus, and promotional content.
  • Plan and execute large-scale events, Paggi House exhibition openings and activations.
  • Hire and coordinate vendors (photographers, rentals, florals, AV, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Catering Sales and Banquets teams for seamless event execution.
  • Manage private event guest lists, invitations, and marketing collateral.
  • All other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by leadership.
