About The Position

Qwoted helps journalists and members of the media connect and collaborate with subject matter experts and the PR/Communications professionals who represent them. Qwoted’s mission is to improve the quality of news and broaden the diversity of experts that are quoted by and connected with reporters, via our data-led, powerful two-sided network. We’re hiring a full-stack marketer to join as our Senior Marketing Director reporting directly to our CEO. We are looking for someone who can increase revenue and grow our network. The person we are looking for is a hands-on detail-oriented leader, owning results end-to-end, and eager to both manage strategy and act as an individual contributor. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in lean teams, enjoys taking projects from idea to execution, and wants to shape how Qwoted grows across multiple markets.

Requirements

  • Proven generalist marketer with 10+ years experience and the ability to flex across channels and own campaigns end-to-end.
  • Proven cold email marketing skills utilizing Apollo, Instantly, and Sendgrid or similar tools. Experience in cold email marketing is important.
  • Experience executing warm/lifecycle marketing through a CRM. Ours is Hubspot.
  • Experience in leading social channels with measurable impact on growth.
  • Experience driving substantial growth for a marketplace, network, or SaaS platform.
  • Strong operator who’s comfortable managing contractors/specialists as well as executing on their own.
  • Owner mindset — proactive, hands-on, and able to make things happen without layers of support. Someone who is excited about making a big impact.
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of coaching teams toward performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort working across platforms — including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Adaptability and collaboration skills — you’re as comfortable getting deep into technical details as you are working across departments to align broader marketing efforts.
  • Process oriented and consistently evaluating workflows to optimize efficiency across team members.

  • Exposure to scaling internationally (US + UK/EMEA)

Responsibilities

  • Grow our marketplace — drive acquisition and deepen the relationship with existing users.
  • Build lifecycle and CRM programs to accelerate free → paid conversion.
  • Own and optimize email outreach. This includes both warm Hubspot campaigns and cold email via Instantly, Apollo, Sendgrid, etc.
  • Manage our social media campaigns
  • Take 0→1 ownership of campaigns and projects, from strategy through execution.
  • Collaborate across US and UK teams to align marketing with global GTM.
  • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance, feeding insights back into strategy.
