About The Position

The LPL Financial Marketing Solutions department is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant with high proficiency in all facets of digital marketing. In this position, you will be the main point of contact for LPL financial advisors that you’ll be supporting. You will combine your knowledge of the web, blogging, email campaigns, and social media publishing with your business acumen to make digital marketing a part of several advisors’ practices. You will execute a digital marketing strategy for LPL advisors using email, social media, SEO, lead generation, digital advertising, websites, and more. This role will join the Business Strategy and Innovation (BSI) team where we unite strategy, experience, and innovation to enhance the overall client experience for advisors, large enterprises, and institutions. BSI plays a critical role in everything from setting and executing on our firm’s strategic direction to developing and delivering powerful business services that help our clients succeed. With the goal of enhancing our client’s day to day experience in everything we do, we seek to proactively identify and address our clients' most significant challenges. Requirements

  • 3-5 years hands-on marketing experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of demand generation, including SEO
  • Solid knowledge of CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Resourceful with the ability to work autonomously but also contribute and work well on teams, collaborative, enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
  • Experience creating social media calendars and email campaigns that drive engagement and conversions

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communication, Journalism or a related field
  • Project management experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Good understanding of digital marketing analytics and tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience working with marketing technology platforms a plus (AdvisorStream, HubSpot, Constant Contact, FMG, etc.)
