Caterpillar's Building Construction Products (BCP) division is hiring a Senior Marketing Communications Consultant! Role Summary: This role serves as a trusted marketing consultant and subject‑matter expert for the Division. It will help shape strategic decisions that strengthen our business today and position Caterpillar for long‑term leadership. Scope & Key Partners Region: North America Works closely with: Peers, dealer marketing teams, divisional leaders, and key customers/corporate accounts

Requirements

  • Customer Focus: Strong marketing and distribution knowledge, always keeping the customer first.
  • Creativity: Monitors innovations in field and explores usefulness in own function
  • Effective Communications: Communicates well downward, upward, and outward; strong presentation skills verbally and in written form
  • Strategic Thinking: Sound business judgment, strong business acumen and long‑term industry perspective
  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Proven experience building strong agency partner relationships
  • Promotion and Marketing Communications: Experience planning and delivering clear, insight‑driven marketing strategies rooted in customer needs, market dynamics, and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting and project management of initiatives across the full marketing funnel.
  • Develop innovative solutions that help us maintain market leadership, specifically with customer who do not do business with Caterpillar today.
  • Partner with senior leaders to support major programs and long‑term objectives for the Division.
  • Contribute to insights that inform future product decisions, marketing strategy, and industry direction.
  • Share expertise with internal and external partners, representing the business at higher industry levels.
  • Deepen your understanding of customer segments, marketing tactics and channels, dealer network and industry needs.
