About The Position

Osborn Engineering, a recognized multidisciplinary design leader, is seeking a Sr. Marketing Associate to lead proposal-driven business development and firmwide marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in a proposal-based marketing environment, with A/E/C experience preferred. This role requires a proven ability to provide strategic direction, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver detail-oriented, high-quality written and graphic materials. The Senior Marketing Associate will partner closely with technical and firm leadership, mentor marketing team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of pursuit and marketing processes. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is highly desired, and familiarity with the Cosential CRM database is a plus. The position is full-time, based at the Cleveland Office Headquarters, and involves up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a proposal-based marketing setting

Responsibilities

  • Lead proposal (RFQ/RFP) development, including pursuit strategy, win themes, content planning, layout direction, schedule management, and final production
  • Provide strategic input to pursuit teams and coach contributors as needed
  • Lead development and maintenance of market-sector qualifications
  • Advise technical leaders on positioning
  • Coordinate with staff to create new project profiles and keep website content current
  • Provide content strategy and oversight for social media and communications
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop messaging and graphics
  • Manage print and digital communications (including email campaigns)
  • Lead coordination of award submissions
  • Own governance of the marketing content library/database
  • Establish standards for quality and consistency for the marketing content library/database
  • Ensure marketing assets are current, searchable, and proposal-ready
  • Lead and shape marketing initiatives by developing approach and messaging, setting timelines, and driving execution for white papers, speaking engagements, trade shows, and collateral materials (brochures, books, banners, trade-show materials, business cards, etc.)
  • Lead development of presentations for marketing efforts and client interviews
  • Advise teams on messaging and flow for presentations
  • Coach presenters to ensure interview readiness
  • Coordinate photography of built work
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager and Director to develop the annual marketing plan and budget
