About The Position

itD is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to lead audience segmentation and analytics initiatives that drive data-informed marketing campaigns. This role is critical to building scalable audience strategies and robust reporting capabilities, enabling the marketing team to reach millions of customers effectively. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, SQL, and marketing analytics and a proven track record of delivering actionable audience insights and automated reporting solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data engineering, data science, or a related analytics role.
  • Expert-level SQL skills: complex queries, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and experience with large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (or similar CDPs), including segment creation, Calculated Insights, and activation workflows.
  • Proven experience building audience signals and segments for marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Data Engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines.
  • Strong experience with report automation, scheduled reporting, and self-service dashboards.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Hive, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Basic Python skills for automation and API utilization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and marketing automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM data structures and account-level data models.
  • Background in B2B marketing analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain audience segments in Salesforce Data Cloud, including signal identification, Calculated Insights (SQL), and activation to marketing automation platforms.
  • Partner with Data Engineers to design and implement data pipelines that support audience segmentation and marketing reporting.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions and self-service dashboards to track campaign performance and marketing KPIs.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets (millions of records) to support audience strategy, segmentation, and revenue opportunity sizing.
  • Ensure data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies across audience and reporting systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical audience definitions and collaborate with campaign managers on complex builds.
  • Provide actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
