About The Position

As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor for Warehouse & Logistics, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Managing salaried and hourly employees with clearly defined roles, fostering strong relationships to support effective employee relations in a unionized environment. Leading and developing team members through coaching, recognition, policy administration, and continuous improvement. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance standard work, material flow, and overall operational effectiveness. Tracking key performance metrics, communicating results to employees and management, and ensuring timely execution of corrective actions and escalation plans. Ensuring compliance with DOT requirements, hazardous materials handling standards, and all applicable regulatory protocols. Overseeing accurate documentation and execution of chemical warehousing, shipping, and transport activities. Leading warehouse and logistics operations using systems such as IMES, PMCS, USS, and COMS to support production schedules and material flow. Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to maintain service levels and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a public, government, or military environment.
  • Willingness to be on-call as many operations are scheduled to run 24/7.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a public, government or military environment.
  • Three (3) years in a leadership position.
  • Experience with manufacturing execution and process monitoring systems such as IMES and PMCS.
  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics systems including USS and COMS.
  • Knowledge of DOT requirements, hazardous materials handling, and applicable regulatory compliance standards.
  • Ability to ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory protocols for chemical warehousing and transport.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people and drive a culture of safety, trust and cooperation in a union environment.
  • Ex cellent verbal and written communication skills.
