About The Position

BSC is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst ( Level 5) to join our 787 Fulfillment organization in North Charleston, South Carolina . This role will involve supporting our production coordinators & analysts in the Line Side Control Center (LSCC). You will provide training, manage critical projects, as well as interface with our 787 Program customer.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
10+ years of experience in performing data analysis
10+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Fulfillment
5+ years of professional experience teaching others and leading training activities
5+ years of experience using LEAN manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools in the workplace

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of experience with project management
Experience leading value stream workshops
787 Program experience

Responsibilities

Trains less experienced employees in group leadership and facilitation skills
Daily interaction with our 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL), GXO
Coordinates complex activities across multiple functions and outside organizations to maintain and improve operational efficiency in support of enterprise operations
Identifies and mitigates the impact of changes on the production system
Leads teams to conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
Analyzes and interprets data
Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
Leads organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
Works under consultative direction
